BookExpo America--or, BEA as it is known by book publishing insiders--is an international publishing industry-only event. BEA (and its prior incarnation, known as the ABA Conference) has traditionally taken place around the beginning of June and has been held all over the country--from New York to Los Angeles to Chicago to Las Vegas.
BEA will take place in at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City--the center of the U.S. book publishing industry--through the year 2015.
