Why do you love your local independent bookstore? Submit it to Connecticut bookseller RJ Julia and your answer might make it into a book.
The folks at R. J. Julia are crafting an On-Demand book; proceeds from its sales will help rebuild Bank Square Books, a store that was devastated by Hurricane Sandy.
They want to hear from you. Why do you love your local, independent bookstore? What person or author changed your life-or your child's? Tell us why reading matters to you.
Guidelines for submission - please note they need your responses by tomorrow, November 29!
Length: Anything from a few words, to a short poem, or a
paragraph up to 65 words - even a black and white drawing will work!
All appropriate submissions will be included.
Please include your first name & town - this will be included in the book.
Email your submissions to Kirsten Hess, at khess@rjjulia.com
