Today, on the 203rd anniversary of the birth of Edgar Allan Poe, the Mystery Writers of America announced its nominees for the 2012 Edgar Allan Poe Awards.
The EdgarŽ Awards, which honor the best in mystery fiction, non-fiction and television published or produced in the prior year, will be presented at the 66th Annual MWA Gala Banquet on April 26, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, New York City.
The 2012 Grand Master, Martha Grimes as well as the 2012 Raven Award winners were announced in November; the Simon & Schuster Mary Higgins Clark Award will be presented at the Agents & Editors Party on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
